CMST 195 - Nonverbal Communication: Communicating without Words


(3 credits) Meets GOAL 5.

Explores how nonverbal messages create meaning in various interpersonal, group, and public contexts. Students examine how body movements, appearance, touch, space, environment, time, and objects communicate social and cultural identity. Students observe their own and other's behavior and learn how to conduct basic social science research. Grade only. Offered annually.
