Question

What is academic probation?

Answer

At Winona State, all students who are below the minimum academic standards at the end of a semester are placed on academic warning. Should students fail to achieve academic standards, they would then be placed on academic suspension at the end of the following term.  When on academic suspension, students are able to appeal to remain enrolled for the next term. Should this appeal be granted, students are then reinstated on academic probation.
