How do I sign up for placement testing?

Placement tests are not required at WSU; most students will be placed into their initial mathematics and English courses on the basis of their ACT sub-scores. Exceptions are described below.

• Incoming first year students will have the option of taking English and math Accuplacer exams when on campus to register for their first semester of courses.  Advance registration is not required.
• New transfer students and continuing students can register to take the placement tests during regularly scheduled times throughout the year.  Students can contact Advising Services to schedule a placement test by calling 507-457-5878 or by sending an e-mail to advising@winona.edu.  There are also testing times available during the summer.  For more information about summer testing please contact Advising Services/Warrior Success Center.
