Question

I was wondering what jobs would be offered if I majored in law enforcement.  Also, is this the best choice for me if I want to be a police officer?

Answer
  1. If you want to become a police officer, then you should major in Criminal Justice.  If you want to be a Police Officer in Minnesota, you will need to major in Criminal Justice at a college in Minnesota that is Certified by the State of Minnesota. WSU has this certification.
  2. If you are looking for careers in criminal justice other than law enforcement/policing, you should still major in criminal justice. For careers with a criminal justice degree, check out the Criminal Justice: What can I do with this degree? document.
