Recommendations if you Test Negative
KBA-01611-V0M2C0
Question
I was tested for COVID-19 due to close contact and my results came back negative and I'm not experiencing symptoms. What do I need to do?
Answer
Follow the Minnesota Department of Health guidelines, which recommend a 14-day quarantine (from the date of your exposure/close contact) as symptoms for COVID-19 may take up to 14 days to appear. Follow any extra guidance given to you by a medical professional when you went in for testing. If you develop symptoms during your 14-day quarantine, it is recommended to go in for testing and to self-isolate immediately.
