Question
I am required to provide weekly COVID test information to WSU as one of the student groups indicated by Minnesota State System Office.  Where can I do my testing?

There are a variety of testing sites available both in Winona and Rochester. Please feel free to use any of these sites or reach out to Health Services for information on other options.  

Winona Testing Sites

·         Hy-Vee

o   Test: Molecular PCR, nasal swab (self-administered)

o   Location: Hy-Vee Pharmacy Drive-Through, 1475 W Service Dr Winona, MN 55987

o   Hours: Tuesday & Thursday 8-10 AM, Saturday 9-11 AM

o   Asymptomatic/non-exposure: Yes

o   Appointment required: Yes (https://www.doineedacovid19test.com/)

o   Insurance/cost: Accepted but not required. No cost to student or WSU.

·         Vault (At-Home Testing)

o   Test: Molecular PCR, saliva (self-administered)

o   Hours: Waiting room hours are Sunday-Thursday 7 AM-9 PM, Friday-Saturday 7 AM-7 PM

o   Asymptomatic/non-exposure: Yes

o   Appointment required: No, but must log in to virtual waiting room when testing.

o   Insurance/cost: Accepted but not required. No cost to student or WSU.

o   Hours: Monday-Friday 7 AM-5 PM

o   Asymptomatic/non-exposure: Yes

o   Appointment required: No

o   Insurance/cost: Accepted. $250 without.

o   Insurance/cost: Accepted. If insurance is not available, sliding scale is used to determine cost of test.

If you aren’t feeling well or come in contact with someone who tests positive for COVID-19, get a check up from a healthcare provider. They may recommend that you get a COVID-19 test.
