Event Description
The WSU Department of Mathematics and Statistics will host guest lecturer and professor David Bressoud as he discusses "Episodes From the History of Trigonometry." He will talk about a range of topics discussing the history of trigonometry.

Bressoud is a DeWitt Wallace Professor of Mathematics at Macalester College. He has published more than 50 research articles in number theory, combinatorics, and special functions. He is a former president of the Mathematics Association of America.
