WSU Free Speech Value Statement - Public Forum

Event Description:

The WSU Commission on Academic Freedom and Free Speech (CAFFS) invites the WSU campus community to attend one of three open forums during the week of November 13-16 and discuss the commission’s proposed draft value statement on free speech issues.  Participants will be providing feedback on the draft statement, which will then be going to campus Meet and Confers for further review.  Two of the three forums will have ITV access for Rochester.  

 

Forums will be held on these days/times:

Tuesday 11/13/18, 2-3 p.m.

WSU Winona campus - Haake Hall Conference Rooms 175-176

 

Thursday 11/15/18, 3-4 p.m., ITV

WSU Winona campus - Maxwell 158; WSU-R, ST 108

 

Friday 11/16/18, 8-9 a.m., ITV

WSU Winona campus - Maxwell 158; WSU-R, ST 116

 

For anyone who cannot attend these sessions but wishes to participate in this discussion, the Commission will also distribute the draft statement via a Qualtrics survey to elicit feedback.
